Here is a conversation I had at recess today:
Student 1: Ms. McCormack, what does vegetarian mean?
me: It means a person who doesn't eat meat.
Student 1: Oh, yeah, of course, I knew that.
me: Are you a vegetarian S?
Student 1: oh, no no, not me. are you?
me: yeah, I am
Student 2: OH NO!!!! THAT MEANS YOU CAN'T HAVE ONE OF MY DAD'S AMAZING HAND-GU-BURGERS!!
me: his what?!??
Student 2: hand-gu-burgers! He makes the best ones EVER! They are so much better than the school hand-gu-burgers!
That's right .... hand-gu-bugers.
